Olney Rebuild Project

 Olney Recreation Center is a 13.6-acre site with playground equipment, a sprinkler, tennis and basketball courts, and well-used sports fields. The recreation building has an auditorium, gymnasium, and a number of multipurpose rooms that host activities like yoga, ceramics, teen programs, and after-school programs. 

Community Engagement

A central component of the Rebuild initiative is community involvement. Three Olney-based community organizations with local knowledge and expertise are partners on the Olney Rec Center project. These organizations helped to shape engagement efforts and continue to gather community input, share information, and recruit residents’ participation in activities and events.
